Reupholstered Chair Big Reveal!!!

Remember that little ottoman I did? Well, now the whole chair is done.

It's white!!! **white pleather that is (you know fake leather)** I know, I make everything white. What to do. I want to lighten things. White was once my favorite color (because it was all colors, that's a seven year old mind at work there).

I like how the chair came out don't you?

I made it the same way I made the others. It was quite simple (besides the buttons, I hate the buttons).

I really think it brightens up the whole corner (bad lighting aside, it was cloudy today). I can't wait to finish the headboard, then you can see the whole room reveal. It will be great.

What is your take on reupholstering? Love it, hate it? I want to know.

Where I party:

Confessions of a Stay At Home Mommy

  1. You did a fantastic job! Is there anything you can't do? LOL

  2. I had to zip on over because it's an Eames Chair. I know many say you shouldn't rework an original but if the seat is torn like yours, what are you supposed to do, leave it tatty? I don't think so.

  3. I definitely love your chair! Wow! It looks so nice in white. I'm very impressed. :)

  4. Great re-do. It looks like brand new.

Thanks for linking up at Tea-Time Thursdays @ Kreative Korner. Your post added to the celebration. Party for this week is going on now. Hope to see you there.

  5. WOW, that is amazing! It looks brand new.

  6. Holy cow, you would never think you could do a thing with the original. That is awesome. Thanks for sharing with my newbie party.

  7. Wow! You are awesome! It looks great! I would love for you to link up to It’s a Party on Thursday (actually, it starts tonight)!

  8. can i ask how much your "pleather" was per yard? and have you been glad you went with pleather over leather?

  9. Hi, I love your tufted headboard,i am definitely going to try it on my existing black sleigh headboard, where did you buy the pleather from?
